THE BIRTHDAY RIDE
Some of you have asked for unicycle pictures. Here is one of the few I snapped where Robert is actually moving forward while on the thing, lol. He is getting better, though, so I will snap another picture or two when he returns from Florida.
Yep. Florida.
He and his best friend pulled out of our parking lot at 5:00 yesterday evening. They pulled into my daughter's driveway in Savannah GA at about 11:30 last night. After a good night's sleep, they will finish the trip to Tampa, where they will visit with Cleveland's family and do "single guy" stuff for a whole week.
Am I a bit nervous? Yep.
Am I excited for Robert (who has never been on a non-family vacation)? You bet I am!!!

Great photo! My two younger brother's used to ride a unicycle all the time. It's a unique gift to be able to do that.
WOW, a vacation without Mom? I'm sure he will have a good time! My niece just moved away from Savannah. I wish she would have stayed there and graduated but she wanted to be home (I don't blame her).

I lived in Savannah from age 1- 3rd grade and have many fond memories of our family's time there...

My boss can ride a unicycle too. I'm always amazed to see her.
I'm sure he's learned enough now from his past to be just fine on this trip. It's great he had the opportunity and gets to relax a little.
hi :shysmile: i live in a pretty wealthy suburban town where the concept of family and strength among family is not a common one. its so nice to see a family together, enjoying themselves, and loving eachother. :hearts:
