Today I am thankful that .....
although the other girls weren't able to join us, Robert was able to attend his oldest sister's graduation ceremony with his brothers,
that my oldest grandson, seen here wearing his mom's graduation cap, loves to read and can finish a book as thick as the Harry Potter book tucked under his arm in less than a week,
and that Robert is beginning to smile more and zone less (though there is still a lot of the latter).
Today, what are you thankful for?

He is the very best Christmas present!
I am grateful for everything... while I'm still struggling financially, and my daughter is starting to skip school a bit too much, and I miss my son a lot, life is, oh, such a beautifully unfolding affair isnt' it. I'm grateful for your friendship, for the way we share our lives through our writing... *hugs xo
One very special thing I am thankful for:
Your son is home and within reach of his mother's loving arms!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas - Soooooooo wonderful
awww, bless 'em all!
i'm thankful that i'm alive and can enjoy the company of my family.

Very nice post. :hearts:
I am thankful for the closeness of my family. Especially at this time with Christmas and my nephew's birthday coming up and with him not being here on this earth; it is the toughest thing that I have ever had to live through..
I am thankful for my new baby son.
I see what you mean by the "zoning"... it looks like he may be doing a little of that in the top picture, and so much more relaxed in the bottom one.
RYC - my son's site... I know about the colors/background.. its horrible lol.
For me, I am thankful to have three beautiful and healthy children... at home, waiting for me to walk thru the door, as I type this.
For you - I am thankful that you have the ability to reach out and touch the son that has been out of reach for so long... and for him, I am thankful that he has a mother who brightens so at the sight of his beautiful smile. He will come around... slow, but sure... it takes time to readjust to life outside those concrete and barbwired walls - it must still seem too good to be true... but in time, he will believe it's truth and find his feet again. I know that in my heart. *Hugs*
For posts like that. Posts that make me appreciate all the good rather than focus on the bad. Thanks.
I've been away from Xanga for a few days, and came by to catch up. I'm sooo very happy for you that he's finally home. Merry Christmas!
I am thankful that I have my 3 boys around...and that so far they have been making the right choices
and that you now have yours at home with you
I came to visit you here today. I'd been wondering how you are and how things have gone since having your son home.....
Today I can't be thankful enough.
May your holidays be blessed.

First of all, I cannot believe how jealous I am of that redhaired cutie. Just too precious! And how happy I am to hear that he is out. I know you are both so relieved. Hugs to all of you.
